Wrestlemania is the biggest highlight in every wrestling fan’s calendar. This long-running event holds so many moments that we all cherish and will remember for as long as we live. So as we gear up for this year’s show of shows in Orlando, I’m looking at all of the various different aspects that make the biggest PPV in wrestling so special.

WWE loves to promote the concept of ‘Wrestlemania Moments’ – while they do sound like a corny marketing scheme, they certainly hold a lot of memories for a lot of people. Wrestlemania is the home to many of our most cherished, fond wrestling memories (and it’s also home to some terrible memories, like Michael Cole vs Jerry Lawler), so much so that I couldn’t limit this list to just ten. Top 10 Wrestlemania Entrances

Wrestlemania is the biggest highlight in every wrestling fan’s calendar. This long-running event holds so many moments that we all cherish and will remember for as long as we live. So as we gear up for this year’s show of shows in Orlando, I’m looking at all of the various different aspects that make the biggest PPV in wrestling so special.

When the big show (not Paul Wight) rolls around every spring, WWE pushes the boat out in every way possible to ensure the entire Wrestlemania experience is as spectacular as it possibly can be, and the entrances are no exception. That simple walk to the ring is pumped full of theatre, showmanship and spectacle to ramp up our excitement levels before the in-ring action even begins. Top 10 Wrestlemania Video Packages

Wrestlemania is the biggest highlight in every wrestling fan’s calendar. This long-running event holds so many moments that we all cherish and will remember for as long as we live. So as we gear up for this year’s show of shows in Orlando, I’m looking at all of the various different aspects that make the biggest PPV in wrestling so special.
Each year at Wrestlemania, before every main event, every show-stealer, every title match, there’s a promo to get the audience at home and in the arena ready for what’s about to come. The key to a good video package is to remind you exactly why you should be excited for what you’re about to watch. Kris Travis: A Fallen Warrior

Back in 2013, I was considerably less hairy, and a freshly single fan of the graps. To my delight, I started chatting casually to a beautiful woman who also just happened to like wrestling. She attended all of these cool indie shows, and talked about all these wrestlers I’d never heard of. At the time, I had barely dipped my toe into the re-emerging British scene, so in order to ‘impress’ someone I had absolutely no chance in hell with, I decided to educate myself a little. Out of all of the wrestlers she talked about, one name seemed to be mentioned again and again and again, so obviously I had to see what all of the fuss was about. His name was Kris Travis: he was handsome, had a fantastic physique, tattoos on his chest, and the girl I fancied was in love with him, so obviously, I fucking hated him. But over time, as we inevitably drifted further and further apart, and my interest in the British wrestling scene began to flower, my unjust hatred towards Travis subsided, and I began to realise how talented he was.
